Here at The Federal Lunch, we consider ourselves a specialty food brand committed to creating high quality foods with the highest quality ingredients available. Each item is handmade in small batches using real cocoa, real butter, real eggs, real nuts, real vanilla, real fuits, real honey, real liqueurs — we could go on and on. Plain and simple, we’re dedicated to producing the most authentic and premium product possible. In the famous words of Ina Garten, how bad can that be?

Our commitment to sustainability is baked (pun intended) into our practices as an oganization. We’re steadfast in our belief that the best businesses are responsible businesses. Here are a few ways that we achieve this:
1.) Seasonal + Local Buying: Our rotating menu is season-centric to promote local farming and shorten supply chains. We look forward to serving you strawberry tarts in the summer and sweet potato muffins in the fall, with star ingredients harvested regionally.
2.) “No-Waste” Policy: Any unused fruits, oats, whole grains, and nuts are donated to the local community or composted.
3.) Sustainable Packaging: All products are packed and delivered using compostable, recycled boxes.
our mediterranean roots
Growing up, I spent Mondays after school at my Yia Yia’s house. I learned to both cook and bake in her kitchen, and credit much of my deep appreciation for good food to her. The Greek influence is a throughline found across the products available at The Federal Lunch, and we’re also excited to introduce you to some popular staples. Keep an eye out for baklava and spanakopita on our rotating menu — those are our favorites.
